FORKLIFT OPERATOR - FOOD MANUFACTURING

Location: Ingleburn

Timee: 6pm-6am

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of stock, inventory control, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate high reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Put away and replenish stock in racking systems.
• Pick and stage orders for production and dispatch.
• Conduct stock movements and inventory checks.
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and RF scanning records.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ensure products are handled in accordance with food safety and quality standards.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
• Keep work areas clean and organised.

Skills & Experience

• Current LF Forklift Licence (essential).
• Proven experience operating high reach forklifts.
• Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
• RF scanning and warehouse management system experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks when required.

Requirements

• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime when required.
• Reliable transport and punctual attendance.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Food manufacturing or FMCG experience is highly regarded.
